Adsearch's Industry and Engineering division is recruiting, on behalf of its client, a major player in the cement industry, a Deputy Project Director for a Cement Kiln project, for a permanent or fixed-term position based in Rufisque, Senegal.
Your missions:Reporting to the Project Director, you will be involved in the commissioning of a large-scale (€250M) showcase project aimed at doubling the site's production capacity while reducing CO2 emissions by 25%. This strategic project will help the company achieve its environmental goals. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing project contracts, ensuring the protection of the group's interests.Leading multidisciplinary teams and supervising on-site activities.Managing schedules and budgets, ensuring deadlines are met.Coordinating internal and external stakeholders and managing communications.Monitoring non-compliance issues and identifying project risks.Supervising the commissioning teams alongside the Project Director.Le profil
You hold an engineering degree and have significant experience in managing large-scale projects, ideally in the heavy industry, cement, or similar sectors. You have expertise in managing engineering contracts (EPC), covering supply, manufacturing, and mechanical and electrical construction through to commissioning. You are fluent in English, and French would be an advantage. You also have experience working in a multicultural environment. Your rigor, organizational skills, and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams make you a key player for this position.
